About Crockett Lakefront RV Resort & Marina
Welcome to our RV Resort on Houston County Lake! Crockett Lakefront RV Resort & Marina was established in the 1970’s and has been offering the ultimate lakefront camping and fishing experience to our guests for almost 50 years. Our resort is a family-friendly park for all ages and stages! We pride ourselves in clean facilities, great customer service, and a variety of on-site amenities to make your stay amazing, regardless of how long you’re here.
Under New Ownership since 2021! Come check out the major renovations and improvements that have been made to the property including resort-wide fiber optic WiFi, brand-new bathhouse with self-service laundry room, ice cream parlor, new office store with groceries and camping needs, electrical upgrades to some of our RV sites, expanded extended stay RV area, some newly refinished cottages, updated mini golf course, and new buddy sites in our daily RV section. Many more projects in the coming year include a remodel of the Event Hall, more refreshment of our current cottages, facelift for our Outdoor Pavilion and swimming pool upgrade.

Our 8 slip marina sits right on the water and is close to our overnight accommodations that are perfect for couples, friends and large groups. Our resort is located in Crockett, Texas – the oldest county seat in the state, named after the legendary frontiersman, Davy Crockett. This charming small town in rich with East Texas history and hospitality. We offer two versatile event spaces that can be rented by the day or even by the weekend.
The Outdoor Pavilion is a breezy open-air space right on the lake which is ideal for birthday parties, casual cookouts, church services, and group gatherings.
The Event Hall is a spacious, flexible building that can accommodate both small and large groups. With two full kitchens, and open floor plan, it’s perfect for weddings, reunions, rallies and community events.
Relax and Unwind in our Cottages
In addition to our RV sites and tent camping, Crockett Lakefront RV Resort & Marina offers a variety of cottages to fit every type of getaway. With more than 30 units available, guests can choose from rustic studios, cozy one-bedroom villas, spacious water view villas, and a fully remodeled two-bedroom cottage. Whether you’re planning a fishing trip with friends, a family vacation, or a couples’ retreat, our cottages provide the perfect blend of comfort and convenience.
Each cottage is thoughtfully equipped with essentials – comfortable beds, full bathrooms, and kitchens/kitchenettes – so you can relax and settle during your stay. Some cottages feature porches with water views, while others are tucked back away in the back of park under the pines. No matter which you choose, our cottages give you the flexibility of a cabin stay with the amenities of a lakefront resort.
